Pathways
Successful completion of the CHC43015 Certificate IV in Ageing Support may lead to employment opportunities, including:
- Aged Care Worker
- Palliative Care Worker
- Case Manager.

What you will gain

How you will study
Delivery
This course may be delivered through face-to-face, online, or work-based training. We use a range of assessment methods for this qualification, including:
- short answers
- projects
- activities
- workplace observation
- observation in a simulated workplace.
Duration
This qualification can be completed in up to thirty-six months, dependent on the student's experience, Credit Transfer (CT) or Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). Apply for CT or RPL during enrolment.
Eligibility and requirements
Student Requirements
The following will be required for the enrolment process:
- Unique Student Identifier (USI)
- verifiable identification documents
- completion of the LLND assessment.

Work placement
This training program includes a minimum of 120 hours of work placement.
New South Wales Work Placement requirements:
- 100% clear current National Police Check clearance certificate
- NDIS Worker Check (NDISWC)
- Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Current vaccination records may be required.
Applications for these clearances are made on an individual basis directly to the relevant government department. Application fees may apply.
Students will require access to appropriate technology and internet if the materials are delivered online.

Fees
Online or self-study option at $7,600 per student. Other delivery option $9,500 per student. This price includes a non-refundable Administration Charge of $250.

- Deferment Fee (administration charges): $50
- Replacement of Testamur/statement of attainment/Qualification Certificate - Hard Copy: $75
- Replacement of Testamur/statement of attainment/Qualification Certificate - Digital: $25
- Repeat of unit (Third attempt onwards Per unit): $150
