As part of the NSW Government initiative More Jobs More Care (MJMC), Apprenticeship Careers Australia has
launched an amazing pre-employment program in disability support where you’ll get invaluable hands-on experience and complete a minimum of four accredited modules towards a Certificate III in Individual Support (CHC33015).
Work Savvy is excited to be partnering on the MJMC program with Apprenticeship Careers Australia by providing the training component for this NSW Government initiative. We will be providing training and support throughout this journey.

You can choose between two options: Model 1 or Model 2.
Model 1
Duration: 4 weeks
• HLTINF001: Comply with Infection prevention and control policies and procedure
• HLTWHS002: Follow safe work practices for direct client care
• CHCCOM005: Communicate and work in health or community services
• HLTAID011: Provide First Aid
• CHCCS015: Provide individualised support
• Quality Safety & You (NDIS Module)
Work experience: 20 hours of work experience will be organised during the 4-week course.

Model 2
Duration: 3 weeks

Work experience: 15 hours of work experience will be organised during the 3-week course. At the completion of Model 2 training, the participants will commence a Cert III Individual Support Traineeship.
